The
College of Arts and Sciences requires a senior comprehensive
examination for graduation from Howard University.
The examination is administered by the department in which the
student declares a major.
The
examination is offered twice a year in November and April,
and the specific dates are indicated in
the University Directory of classes.
Students
must score at least 60 percent in order to pass the examination.
Students
in African
Studies are tested in the topics and subject matter covered
in the required courses of the department as well as the
electives.
Students
should consult with the Director of Undergraduate Studies
in African Studies and their academic advisor for guidance
on preparation for the test. Questions from previous
examinations can be requested
to help in the preparations for the examination. |
