THE HOUSING EDUCATION AND OUTRERACH INITIATIVE:

A CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN FAIR HOUSING LAW AND INVESTIGATIONS

Howard University Center for Urban Progress (CUP) has received a grant from Fair Housing Initiatives Programs of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop a new fair housing curriculum for the Fair Housing Initiative Program (FHIP). This new curriculum will be implemented by the National Fair Housing Training Academy (NFHTA) located on the campus of Howard University.

 

Currently, (Spring 2007), about eight students from Howard University are actively involved in fair housing related activities. The following table shows the names of the interns and the organizations at which they had been placed.
