GRADUATING ECONOMICS MAJOR, LARCUS PICKETT,
HELPS BISON WIN FIRST MEAC SOFTBALL TILE

Larcus Pickett

Larcus Pickett, who graduated this May, played for the MEAC softball champion Howard softball team. The MEAC tournament was over graduation weekend, forcing Larcus to drive back and forth from Washington to Baltimore where the tournament was held. Winning the MEAC championship put the softball team on the road to Tuscon, Arizona where they competed in the first round of the NCAA Division I softball championship. With her Howard economics degree in hand, Larcus will be on her way to West Africa to work for the Peace Corps.
