GRADUATING
ECONOMICS MAJOR, LARCUS PICKETT,
HELPS BISON WIN FIRST MEAC SOFTBALL TILE

Larcus
Pickett, who graduated this May, played for the MEAC
softball champion Howard softball team. The MEAC tournament
was over graduation weekend, forcing Larcus to drive
back and forth from Washington to Baltimore where the
tournament was held. Winning the MEAC championship put
the softball team on the road to Tuscon, Arizona where
they competed in the first round of the NCAA Division
I softball championship. With her Howard economics degree
in hand, Larcus will be on her way to West Africa to
work for the Peace Corps.
