ADMISSION CRITERIA

STUDENTS ADMITTED TO the College of Arts and Sciences as freshmen are invited to join the Honors Program on the basis of their SAT (1180) or ACT (26) scores and high school GPA (3.5). The Program seeks capable students who will thrive in an atmosphere of creative learning and intellectual exploration.

Students who do not enter the Program as freshman and transfer students are invited at the beginning of their sophomore year. These students must have at least 30 credit hours and a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. Students may remain in the Program as long as they maintain a 3.2 GPA.
