Derek Butts is a
freshman, insurance major with a concentration in actuarial science from
Newport News, Virginia. He enjoys listening to music, writing, watching good
movies, and chilling with people who are real. Always carrying a laid back
demeanor, Derek can be serious at times, but finds time to clown around when
the opportunity arises. Derek lives by the credo – “make sure that you
spread love and watch what you say, because otherwise you’ll have to watch
your back.”
