Wanjiku Mwangi, a freshman Biology major, was
born in Nairobi, Kenya but is now a native of Georgia. The daughter of
William and Janet Theuri, Wanjiku is the youngest of three children, all of
who are currently attending college. Through her studies, Wanjiku is
pursuing a career in medicine, particularly the field of optometry. Her
interests include serving the Howard community as well as the surrounding
area, broadening her cultural horizons, and attempting to learn one of the
many Kenyan languages.
