Mark K. Mauldin, a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, earned a Bachelor of Music Education, Magna Cum Laude, from Howard University (1988) and a Master of Music from Kent State University (Ohio).  He is currently completing a PhD in Music Education from Kent State. 

In addition to his twelve year public school and college teaching experience, Mark Mauldin is known in the Cleveland area as a versatile trombonist, pianist, low brass specialist, clinician, adjudicator, and arranger.  Mr. Mauldin holds memberships in MENC: The National Association for Music Education, the American Federation of Musicians, the International Association of Jazz Educators, and the International Trombone Association.
